Comments from 2013 participants
of Iyengar Yoga with K-Lea at Hollyhock

"I began taking yoga classes from K-Lea when she opened 12South Yoga in 1999. I have always thought of her as an inspired teacher and have over the years seen her grow and blossom as one of the most amazingly intuitive teachers I have ever had the fortune to experience.

When, in July 2013, I was able to attend her workshop at Hollyhock Retreat Centre, I was very excited for a week of great classes in such a beautiful, wild place. I was not disappointed. Her style and teaching, as well as her presence, radiated a deep understanding and grace that is nothing less than spiritual. Taking consideration for each student, K-Lea's classes build and flow, pose to pose based on subtle and complex themes which takes you on an inward journey to a place you barely knew existed. I felt so deeply alive at the end of this magical week.”

- Renee French, owner Practical Massage Therapy, Nashville, TN

"The natural beauty and intentional serenity of Hollyhock created an atmosphere of peace and possibility perfect for the practice of yoga. K-Lea artfully articulated the study of yoga with an intuitive understanding of both the subject and her students. Her teaching, firmly rooted in her own self-study, was creative, compassionate, and uniquely interpretive. The Iyengar Yoga Intensive at Hollyhock was not just a wonderful yoga experience; it was a wonderful life experience."
