Restore Your Pelvic Floor

Join us to release and restore your pelvic floor through a supportive yoga practice designed for women interested in pelvic health. This workshop offers practical tools and poses inspired by Leslie Howard's teachings to deepen your understanding and experience.

This workshop is open to all levels and all bodies, inviting women practitioners and individuals interested in pelvic health to feel included and supported. Women practitioners interested in experiencing specific Yoga postures and positions designed to support pelvic floor health are welcome. K-Lea will guide you through a practice of poses primarily inspired by her teacher training with Leslie Howard, author of Pelvic Liberation. 

Erin Parker has been a PTA for 13 years, specializing in pelvic health for both men and women, helping people to work through changes in their bodies, including bowel/bladder issues, sexual function, abdominal pain, pregnancy/postpartum and more. Erin received her training and certifications through the Herman and Wallace company. It is a privilege to assist my community, connect with people, and promote awareness of our bodies, fostering a sense of shared understanding and support.

The Psoas is known as the fight or flight muscle and is similar to a barometer for the state of our nervous system. Experience this important muscle and how to release and strengthen it. As with most muscles, it is important that we have a balance between stability and mobility. We will explore strengthening, releasing and relaxing through Yoga poses and functional movement modalities. A tight psoas can cause postural problems, so conditioning the psoas in your yoga practice can help keep it healthy, strong, and flexible.
